Eragon is the head instructor for teaching us. He has a few titles, Kingkiller and Shadeslayer, and was the one to kill Galbatorix. Pupils are supposed to call him Eragon-elda and they do, even though it kind of bugs Eragon. Eragon's sword is named Brisingr, or Fire. His dragon is Saphira, who is also deeply respected by the pupils.
